The Great Lakes SCRIP (GLSC) offers an innovative approach for organizations seeking to raise funds...and all you have to do is shop at your favorite stores, eat at your favorite restaurants, and fill your car with gas with everyday gift cards that you buy from our school.

GLSC buys huge quantities of gift certificates directly from hundreds of merchants. Due to their volume purchase approach, they are able to secure these certificates at a fraction of their face value. GLSC then passes a portion of that savings on to C2E when you buy your gift cards through this program.

On-the-spot sales on Fridays - cards we always keep on hand - are on Fridays from 7:45 to 8:10 a.m. near the school library, during kindergarten car line, from 3:00 - 3:20 p.m. in car line and from 3:25 - 3:45 at the soccer field. We carry Wal Mart, Safeway, Kings, Sprouts, Starbucks, plus more. Contact us if you need cards at a different time.

Custom orders - cards from 500 popular retailers - are due to the main office by Monday, 8:30 a.m. They will be distributed during regular sales times. Check out our merchant list below!

Direct Giving

The Direct Giving Campaign is a fundraiser in which Families, Friends, businesses and community members can help us achieve our fundraising goals through tax deductible contributions. What makes this a unique fundraiser is that unlike others, Challenge to Excellence will receive 100 percent of monies that are donated through this campaign. Click here for the Direct Giving Campaign webpage. 

Cookie Dough Sales

Once again, C2E has teamed up 360-fundraising to sell gourmet cookies, pretzels, dessert rolls, brownies, restaurant discount cards, and online catalogue items.  Students who sell a combination of 15 items are invited to a complimentary Hummer limo ride to a local pizzeria. This is the largest fundraiser that C2E offers and has been very successful in support of our C2E students and their education in the past. Last year, together, we raised 19k and we hope to exceed that this year with an added incentive of a Science Assembly if we reach our intended goal.  Thank you to everyone who participates and remember, if you cookies aren’t your item of interest, the online catalogue and discount cards are an easy alternative to still support this fundraiser!

Holiday Tree and Wreath Sale

The school PVA is offering families of C2E the chance to purchase Fresh Holiday trees of various sizes, potted trees that can be replanted, and/or holiday wreaths right from our school. This is a first time event at C2E and order forms will be sent home early November with all forms required to be handed back to the school with payment by 18 November. Delivery is scheduled both during and after school pickup on Friday December 9th. Point of Contact for this event is Karen Kistle (kkistle@msn.com). Volunteers are needed to help load the trees and also to hand out holiday cheer. Please contact Karen if interested in helping out and getting some volunteer hours!

Box Tops and Labels for Education

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year at Challenge to Excellence!! My name is Deanne Duncan and I’m the Box Topsand Labels for Education Coordinator. Did you know that by collecting Box Tops and Labels for Education you are helping C2E to purchase much needed school supplies and equipment?

There is a drop off box in the main hallway so you can drop off any Box Tops and Labels for Education when it’s convenient for you.

 

Box Tops

CLIP – Clip Box Top coupons! Each Box Top coupon is worth $.10 to our school. Make sure to get your Box Tops in before they expire!

SHOP – Shop at your favorite online retail stores through the Box Tops Marketplace (www.btfe.com/marketplace). Up to 8% of each qualifying purchase is automatically donated to our school.

Sign up to support Challenge to Excellence at www.BTFE.com. A current list of participating products is located on the C2E website.

Labels for Education

*  Clip Labels for Education UPCs from Campbell’s, Pepperidge Farm, V8 and many other products. A current list of participating products is located on the C2E website.

*  Register for e-Labels for Education and earn additional label points for Challenge to Excellence. Simply go to www.e-labelsforeducation.com and follow the instructions to set up your Labels for Education account. Registration steps are easy to follow. Make sure you select the Challenge to Excellence to receive your Labels for Education points.
