Challenge To Excellence Charter School relies on parent volunteers to enhance the opportunities for learning, and to assist the school in various activities. Multiple opportunites to volunteer are available- and multiple committees assist in event organization and planning.
Parent Volunteer Association
The Parent Volunteer Association is dedicated to planning events that will provide opportunities for creating positive relationships within our school community. The PVA encompasses all of the other C2E volunteer committees. It is our hope to help make Challenge to Excellence a place where students and their families feel welcome and connected to others.

School Advisory Committee
The purpose of the SAC is to inform, encourage and provide opportunities for parent and community members to be involved in the planning and evaluation of the school's instructional program and quality improvement processes. By definition, the SAC is an advisory body. Final decision-making authority rests with the principal or other person or group receiving the recommendation from the SAC (e.g., the Superintendent, District Advisory Committee ("DAC") or Board of Education).

Dad's Club
We are a group of fathers who organize events and activities for kids (both male and female) that can benefit from a male perspective. We organized the Fall Festival Haunted house and staffed it with fathers as well as kids from the school who got to work as a team to build something together we could all be proud of. We will be having monthly activities for kids of all ages to participate in and enjoy, and volunteer as a group to help out around the school on projects that demonstrate to our children that we care about them and they're classmates.
